The Logan Place project is a refurbishment of an existing high end residential building. The scheme has required an extensive structural intervention to maximise the residential use of the existing building lower levels.
The structural works comprised the removal of an RC column and its replacement by a new set of steel frames; the replacement of the lower ground floor slab by a new raised slab to achieve the required basement floor to ceiling heights, and a set of alterations to the existing car lift shaft to increase the residential floor areas.
Structures Lab is providing full detailed design services including connection design listed buildings.
